No they shouldn't. Dynamic Res is inconsistent and is only used to box tick to say the game is (sometimes) in 1080p, when actually the console can't run it 100% of the time at that Res. Better to run at 900p fluidly.
And THAT is why you don't save all your exclusives for one season.
I've watched the video. Of course the XBO version looks better but what's amazing is how good the the 360 version looks. Not everybody can see the difference between 1080p and 720p or notice the extra visual effects, although I definitely can. The higher resolution definitely helps me get more immersed in the game world, I choose higher Res and FPS every time. But if you just own an Xbox 360 you will be getting exactly the same experience. A great version for 360!

Square & Microsoft. Anybody could have told you that you shouldn't have released it on the same day as Fallout 4, then you wouldn't have had to resort to desperate stunts like this.
If your name is on the list what happens, it is said using a synthesised voice or it's not said at all?
@TheKhurg. When a console manufacturer enters into a marketing agreement with a developer where they pay for timed exclusive DLC or exclusive voice commands, it's within the realms of possibility they also pay for priority QA.
This is what happens when you let Polygon.com speak on behalf of all gamers. They pressure developers with their politics and no other website has the courage to say 'Not In My Name.'
People have different tastes. The movie business has a variety of genres and the public vote with their wallets. The difference here is that this pressure has now changed Street Fighter V's animations despite it keeping with the tone of the series.

@BlackPanther. The idea of paying for YouTube, a website I have used for years for free, does sound very alien to me. However I appreciate the fact that you intelligently explained your points.
For me, I don't watch enoughh YT to use the Red service, I don't mind the odd ad. But for some (mostly younger?) gamers who consume most of their content through it, it makes sense. If I decide to pay for a music streaming service then Google Music being included does add value...
As a business Microsoft have to do what they have to do.
However whilst it makes for good lols on gaming websites it is not going to make a difference to actual sales. As a gamer who visits multiple websites including Xbox.co.uk I haven't come across it. Non hardcore are even less likely to see it. Owners of XBO or PS4 will buy Star Wars Battlefront for the console they own and multi-console owners will have already made their decision based on their friends' list. ...
Of course it's not a deal breaker, but only now they tell us the cutscenes are not 1080p. At best this is a lack of transparency at worst this was a cynical move to conceal the truth until AFTER pre-orders had been despatched.
Congrats. Gamers seem to really be enjoying the multiplayer. But there is a bit of spin in the statement!
* It IS the biggest Xbox One exclusive, as is to be expected as it is the first time the flagship series has been on the new console in an original game.
* it ISN'T the best opening week sales for a Halo game, check GAF for the numbers but in the UK Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo Reach, Halo 4 have all sold better in the same period.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 pre-orders 'significantly' higher than Advanced Warfare."
That PlayStation co-marketing campaign works both ways. Showing the game off to the biggest install base of new-gen owners at E3 and Paris Games Week is going to have a very positive impact.
Black Friday is just one day/weekend/week and can't change the XBO
and PS4 market positions. But Microsoft regard it as great PR to say they've 'won' it. So look out for some heavy advertising and phenomenal MS authorised deals.
Double OLED screens for the eyes. Headset. External box. Controllers. It will cost. The media will critisise it for being too expensive. The best thing Sony can do is wait until HTC Valve reveal the price of the Vive which will be priced for premium PC gamers. Then Whatever the PS VR price is it will seem much better value.
Warren Spector is basically criticising the Uncharted series for telling a specific character's story (Drake's) and not being as interactive or as personal as some games. But this is like criticising a dog for going woof! Uncharted delivers a very specific type of game experience. He doesn't understand that one single game can't be all things to all people.
However myself, as a fan of most genres, don't want everything to be an open world game. Sometimes ...
MS: "The fact is if you want to play Call of Duty and Halo, you’re gonna want to do that on Xbox One."
That is excellent PR training. When Microsoft had the Call of Duty marketing agreement it was a good thing, now that they don't they can still spin into a good thing because the PS4 doesn't have Call of Duty and Halo! But then the Xbox One doesn't have Call of Duty and Bloodborne. So that kind of defence becomes meaningless so best to be honest in inte...
@NewMonday. This time they better not ignore the biggest group of gamers.
'Microsoft On Xbox One Resolution Issues: "It's Not Just About The Specs," Quality Matters As Well." '
But with all these third party games where the resolution differs the gameplay quality is the same on both XBO and PS4.
To 'double-dip' is a phrase with negative connotations as it denotes a person has been charged twice. In this case Sony is offering their customers a double discount which is something entirely more positive!
